A Behaviour Mentor in an SEMH school helps students with significant behavioural and emotional challenges by providing tailored guidance and mentorship. They build positive relationships and work in close partnership with teachers and parents to tackle underlying issues. Creating and implementing personalised behaviour management plans is a core aspect of their role. This support is vital in aiding students to develop resilience, enhance their social and emotional skills, and achieve success both academically and personally.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience working with young people with SEMH and behavioural needs.
  • Be proactive and organised.
  • Have a passion and drive for education.
  • Work well in a team.
  • Be confident in supporting students 1:1.

Additionally, candidates must also be UK residents, living in the country for at least 3 months, with valid Right to Work documents and relevant qualifications.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
