A school In the Tameside area are looking to appoint a behaviour Teaching Assistant as soon as possible!

They’re looking to bring someone in who already has some experience in a similar setting, to help maintain a calm and positive learning environment for the children, through strong methods of behaviour management.

Therefore, the individual in hand needs to have:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Express a calm and reassuring nature throughout the classroom.
  • Ability to build an excellent rapport with the children.
  • Behaviour management techniques to help the children remained focused on the task in hand.
  • Assist the students who require additional support though their classwork.

It’s not completely essential for the applicant to have previous experience working in a school setting, as the behaviour management techniques the school are looking for, can be transferred from a different environment such as:

Sports coaching / care homework / military background / experience with SEN children.

As long as the applicant is a punctual, positive and passionate person, the school could use you as a valuable asset.

Along successful registration the applicant will receive:

  • £350 - £450 per week, paid on a weekly basis through PAYE (pay will be dependent on experience)
  • Training and CPD courses throughout your work within the schools.
  • Opportunity to develop and enhance career progression.
  • Flexible working days to suit your needs.

As stated, the role will be a temporary position to start with and allow for the applicant to book and block out the preferred days they wish to teach, dependant on your current lifestyle.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
