As a Behavioural and Emotional Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting students who require additional assistance with their behavioural and emotional well-being. Your support will help create a positive and nurturing learning environment, enabling students to thrive academically and personally.

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with behavioural and emotional needs.
  • Develop and implement tailored support plans in collaboration with teachers and other professionals.
  • Assist in managing and de-escalating challenging behaviours in a calm and effective manner.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social and emotional development.
  • Monitor and document students' progress and report findings to the appropriate staff.
  • Previous experience working with children or young people with behavioural and emotional difficulties.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting children's well-being.
  • Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or a related field are desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
