Specialist Teaching Assistant – Swansea

Weekly pay of £420.00

Due to increased demand, on behalf of the headteacher Teaching Personnel are seeking an experienced specialist teaching assistant, to work long term in one of our partner pupil referral units. Offering a grand opportunity to support children with different learning needs, in a truly rewarding role. Working within a purpose-built environment, with children in KS2 to KS4. You will work with children & multi agencies creating strategies to support pupils, with a shared goal of re-integration to mainstream school.

Facing daily challenges, you will need to be a patient and resilient individual. With a desire to make a difference to children’s education. You will build a rapport with children, and adapt to different needs and abilities, all while ensuring safeguarding is priority.

A role that you will truly make a different in.

Experience is preferred but is not required, experience can be professionally or personally!

Driving is desired but is certainly not essential. As there is public transport local to the school. Public parking offered to those who drive.

REQUIRMENTS:

GCSE’S (5 Minimum) – A* - C

Enhanced DBS 

EWC
