Teaching Personnel have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, positive and hard-working Teacher of Biology to join a successful and experienced Science department, covering a period of maternity leave.

As a Teacher of Biology, you will promote the profile of Biology in school, through the excellent teaching of well-prepared lessons across KS3 and KS4, delivering the AQA syllabus. The successful candidate must be willing to help lead extra-curricular activities organised by the department.

We welcome applications from those with Qualified Teacher Status, or a willingness to gain a qualification and possess the experience of teaching the subject at GCSE.

The Science department at this secondary school are successful and well-established, with a large take up of all three Sciences at GCSE level. There is a strong focus on extra-curricular activities in order to enrich pupil learning, with many engaging Science clubs, competitions , and support sessions available to students of all ages in the school.
