Teaching personnel have encountered a high volume of schools in the East Lancashire area contacting the agency to source ECTs and experienced teachers to teach in both KS1 and KS2. The schools are based in the Bolton area.

About the role:

Day to day supply

To work in a range of schools across East Lancashire.

To start October 2024.

Pay rate: £ 100- £ 150 per day.

Flexible working hours.

Bolton Area

Carry out any reasonable requests from the head teacher during your bookings.

Supply appropriate planning materials, following school plans where provided.

Carry out the duties of the ‘regular’ teacher as much as possible. For example, covering classes, taking class registers, attending school assemblies, enforcing school rules.

Observe school policy and ethos during your bookings.

Contribute to the provision of a safe, secure learning environment.

Support the use of support staff relevant to the class.

Mark work for primary school pupils that you have been teaching.

It is essential that you have QTS and experience working in a UK primary school. You will need to have taught in KS1 and/or KS2 and have knowledge of statutory assessments.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
