Job Title: Lecturer – Bricklaying

Salary: £27,425 - £40,369 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week

A college is seeking a dedicated Bricklaying Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching and learning within its Construction Department. The role includes teaching across a variety of programs, supporting learners of all ages and abilities, and contributing to course development. The lecturer will also be responsible for preparing teaching materials, assessments, and undertaking administrative duties to ensure smooth operation of the programs.

Additional responsibilities include acting as a course tutor, tracking student progress, and supporting work placement programs. The post holder will also assist in student recruitment and participate in promotional events for the department.

The ideal candidate will hold a minimum Level 3 vocational qualification in Bricklaying and have substantial, relevant industry experience. Teaching qualifications, such as a PGCE or equivalent, are preferred but not essential, with support provided for professional development. Evening and weekend work may be required.

The college is committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, and the successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
