Are you a passionate and experienced Business and Economics Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in North Liverpool? Teaching Personnel is working on behalf of a well-regarded secondary school to recruit an enthusiastic teacher for Key Stage 4 (GCSE) and Key Stage 5 (A-Level) classes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Business and Economics lessons for KS4 & KS5 students.
  • Inspire and motivate students to achieve their academic potential, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level exams, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning are maintained.
  • Use data to track student progress, implementing interventions where necessary to support attainment.
  • Contribute to the wider school community, including participation in extracurricular activities and departmental meetings.

Essential Criteria:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching Business and Economics at KS4 and KS5 level.
  • Strong knowledge of current curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Ability to engage and challenge students of varying abilities.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience working in a secondary school environments.
  • A track record of raising student attainment in Business and/or Economics.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate and on the update service (or willingness to apply for one through Teaching Personnel)
