About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dynamic and passionate Business Studies Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in the Wirral. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and skilled teacher to inspire students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons, ensuring students develop a strong understanding of business concepts and are well-prepared for their GCSEs and A-levels. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching business studies at both secondary and post-16 levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in Business Studies to students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to achieve their best
• Monitor and assess students' progress, providing regular feedback to support their academic growth
• Contribute to the wider school community and participate in departmental meetings and extracurricular activities
• Support students in their preparation for GCSE and A-Level examinations
• Uphold high standards of teaching and learning in line with the school's ethos and values

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• A degree in Business Studies or a related field
• Experience teaching Business Studies across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5
• Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to promoting student well-being
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A genuine passion for teaching and a desire to make a positive impact on students' education
• Enhanced DBS and on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
