Job Title: Business Studies Teacher

Location: Greater Manchester, Manchester

Salary: £30,000 - £46,001 per annum

Contract: Full time, Permanent

 

Teaching Personnel Permanent Workforce Team are currently working alongside a Secondary School located in the south of Manchester, Altrincham area, in their search for an experienced and dedicated Business Teacher to teach the subject up to A Level to years 10 & 11 students. You will be responsible for preparing the students for their upcoming exams and mock exams, in order to give them the best opportunity to fulfill their learning potential. 

 

Key Duties

  • Teach high level Business Studies to eager learners who are looking to fulfill their learning opportunities. 
  • Offer and provide additional learning sessions with students who may be struggling/catching up.
  • Work alongside the team of Teaching Assistants to ensure students are properly following the curriculum.
  • Working with the Teaching Assistant(s) in order to ensure all students are learning to the best of their abilities.
  • Work alongside the Head of Department to discuss ways to develop the curriculum to best suit the students.

 

Requirements:

  • A UK Teaching Qualification with a QTS/QTLS is essential and will not be considered without.
  • Prior experience teaching Business Studies up to A Level within a Secondary School/Sixth Form.
  • Have full knowledge of the subject area and subject matters that you will be teaching.
  • A UK Degree witihn the subject is essential (Bachelors degree minimum).
