We are looking for enthusiastic and qualified Business Studies Teachers to inspire and educate students in secondary schools throughout Birmingham. The successful candidates will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that promote both academic achievement and a comprehensive understanding of business concepts.

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Business Studies lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback to help them improve.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Prepare students for examinations, ensuring they meet curriculum standards and achieve their academic potential.
  • Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attainment.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • A degree in Business Studies or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Business Studies at the secondary school level.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum for Business Studies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • The ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment.
