Cache Level 3 Primary Teaching Assistant

£12.90 an hour

Full time (Monday to Friday)

8:30AM-3:30PM

Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside a school in Cardiff who are seeking a Cache Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work in the Nursery class on a full-time basis. The staff are eager to welcome a proactive individual to the team of four staff in the nursery class. The school would ideally like the successful individual to have experience working with younger children, either in a professional or personal context. The main requirement is a Cache Level 3 qualification.

Daily responsibilities of the role:

-          Welcoming the children into the classroom in the morning and afternoon session

-          Ensuring the children are safe at all times of the day under your supervision

-          Setting up play and work activities throughout the day and tidying once the activity is completed

-          Prepare food and drinks for snack time

Requirements for the role:

-          Child only DBS on the update service

-          Registration with the Education Workforce Council

-          2x professional references

-          Cache Level 3 Qualification

-          A level of understanding in Welsh would be beneficial for the role but not necessary
