Position: Care Taker

Role Overview:
The Site Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the school premises are well-maintained, safe, and secure. This role involves performing routine maintenance tasks, supervising cleaning staff, and overseeing the security of the school buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of the school premises to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Perform basic repair and maintenance tasks (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
- Supervise and coordinate the work of cleaning staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Oversee the security of the school buildings, including locking and unlocking premises as required.
- Respond to and manage any on-site emergencies, liaising with emergency services if necessary.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of school events and activities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and safety checks.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational setting.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance tasks.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
