Teaching Assistant – Challenging Behaviour – Preston.

Role: 1-1 Support.

Hours: 08:30-15:30.

Days: Monday to Friday.

Start Date: 15th April 2024.

Location: Preston.

A ‘Good’ school within the Preston area has requested the support of Teaching Personnel to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. The hours for this role run from 8:30-3:30 to allow time for a handover with the class Teacher.

The role:

This role will require someone with previous experience supporting challenging behaviour, this can be within roles outside of schools. It is also important that the successful candidate has a strong positive attitude and it approachable. This role will require working closely with the class Teacher and the school’s behaviour support Team to set targets for the child and continually check progress and update targets where necessary. Experience within Secondary schools is desired however not necessary, any previous experience working with challenging behaviour will be considered.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Challenging behaviour.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Approachable.
  • Full Time availability.
