PMLD Teaching Assistant Opportunity

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) who are unable to attend mainstream schools? Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated professionals with Moving and Handling training to join our team.

Key Duties:

• Assist in delivering the curriculum and supporting individual learning plans.
• Provide personal care, including feeding, changing, and toileting.
• Help students complete daily tasks and routines.
• Ensure a safe and nurturing learning environment.
• Track and monitor each student’s progress.
• Collaborate with other staff members and external agencies to create an engaging and supportive educational experience.

Given the nature of this role, it would very well suit the right person with experience in Care and Support, Childminding, or other Social Care backgrounds.

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Overseas Criminal Clearance if applicable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
