The school we are working with are known for an supportive and inclusive learning environment which encourages children to thrive both academically and personally. They are seeking an experienced teacher to join their Year 3 team from Jan 2025 with the opportunity to go permanent.

Role Overview:

As the Year 3 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons to a class of enthusiastic learners. You will play a key role in fostering a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere while maintaining high standards of teaching and learning. The role will be a full-time maternity cover, offering an excellent opportunity to work in a "Good" rated school with a strong community focus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Assess, track, and report on pupil progress to ensure high achievement and personal development.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment where all children feel valued.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the best outcomes for all pupils.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents and carers.
  • Uphold the school’s values and contribute to its community-focused ethos.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably Year 3.
  • A strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Ability to inspire and engage pupils of varying abilities and backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Experience in planning differentiated lessons and providing tailored support to meet the needs of individual learners.
