Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a Classroom Buddy to work in our partnership Primary School in Llanelli and surrounding areas. The role is general TA work with working hours from 8.30-3.30pm.

We are seeking the right individual who would fit into our Primary School that is happy to work with children who need additional support within a classroom setting. The individual right for this role will have:

  • Professional or personal experience working with children
  • Experience with ALN
  • Welsh-speaking (desirable)
  • Proactive attitude
  • Capability to monitor behavioural needs and support pupils with low self-esteem
  • Commitment- 5 days per week ( desirable)
  • 5 x GCSE’s A-C or above

What you will need in place to work in education

  1. DBS certificate (enhanced- child only) we can help you apply for this
  2. DBS update service- we can help you with this
  3. EWC (Education Workforce Council) registration
  4. Proof of ID
  5. Proof of Address
  6. Own means of transport or good transport links to be able to access our schools
