The Classroom Buddy will work closely with teachers to support students in the classroom. Duties include assisting with classroom activities, providing one-on-one support to students, helping with lesson preparation, and promoting a positive learning environment.

  • Strong communication skills
  • Patience and empathy
  • Ability to work well in a team

A minimum of GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths is required.

Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.

  • Understanding of classroom dynamics
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Basic computer skills

An NVQ or equivalent qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools would be advantageous.

The Classroom Buddy role is based in a school setting, with regular school hours. The individual may need to assist in various classrooms and work with students of different age groups.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
