We are currently seeking experienced and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to join our team in Rochdale. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a variety of schools and departments, providing support and guidance to students in the absence of their regular teachers.

Role Overview:

The main responsibility of a Cover Supervisor is to ensure the safe supervision of students in the classroom and to ensure that assigned work is completed to a satisfactory standard. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be expected to communicate effectively with both staff and students, ensuring that all policies and protocols are followed in line with safeguarding and behaviour expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise students in the classroom during teacher absences
  • Ensure assigned work is completed to a satisfactory standard
  • Communicate effectively with staff and students
  • Adhere to school policies and protocols for safeguarding and behaviour

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or similar role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow policies and protocols for safeguarding and behaviour
  • Valid DBS check (we can assist in obtaining one if needed)
