Role Overview: As a Classroom Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing classes in the absence of the regular teacher. Your role will involve managing classroom behaviour, ensuring that students remain on task, and delivering pre-set work. Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage a classroom of students, ensuring a productive and orderly environment.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons and instructions provided by the absent teacher.
  • Support students with their learning and answer any questions they may have.
  • Maintain classroom discipline and follow the school's behaviour policies.
  • Provide feedback to the school regarding student progress and behaviour during your supervision.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence in managing a classroom and maintaining discipline.
  • Adaptability and the ability to handle a variety of subjects and age groups.
  • A genuine interest in education and supporting young people.
  • Experience in an educational setting is an advantage but not essential.
