Teaching Personnel is currently seeking passionate and dedicated Classroom Support Assistants to join one of our partner SEN schools in the Northampton. 

The school caters to children aged between 4 - 16 with a variety of complex and severe learning needs, including Autism, physical disabilities, and sensory impairments.

In this role, you will:

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering creative and engaging lessons.
  • Provide support to children on a 1:1 and small group basis.
  • Engage with children and facilitate their progress towards reaching their full potential.
  • Assist with the assessment of children's learning and development.
  • Have the opportunity to secure a permanent position within the school.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Patience and a calm demeanour.
  • Prior experience that can be transferred to the role of a classroom support assistant.
  • Enthusiasm and a passion for working with children.
  • Thorough knowledge of safeguarding practises.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Availability for full-time work within school hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
