One of our welcoming secondary schools, based in Rochdale are looking for a qualified Computer Science teacher to join their rewarding and hard-working team this June.

Our partner schools are looking for a new long-term member of staff. You must be able to teach KS3 and KS4 to a range or learning abilities. The successful candidate must teach and provide well planned, challenging, and purposeful lessons to pupils, and adapt these to underperforming pupils.

The school is known for having outstanding facilities, as well as an excellent support system for both staff and students and the successful candidate will start after the May half-term, until the end of the year continuing a contract in September.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assess and record pupil’s progress
  • Set high expectations for students’ behaviour
  • Monitor students work and homework providing constructive feedback including future targets
  • Uphold the school’s values
  • Pay will be dependent upon a pay scale ranging between MPS1 – MPS6 (New pay scales will be adhered to)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
