Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of tech enthusiasts? An excellent Secondary School in Southend are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to join our dynamic team for the new academic year. Start date will be September 2024.

Position: Computer Science / ICT Teacher

Location: Southend-on-sea

Start Date: September 2024 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive computer science lessons to students of varying abilities.
  • Develop and implement curriculum plans that foster students' understanding and interest in computer science.
  • Utilise modern teaching methods to enhance students' learning experiences.
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and innovative learning environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is desired. 
  • Strong knowledge of computer science principles and programming languages.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A passion for teaching and the ability to motivate students.
