Job Description: We are looking for an enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to inspire and engage students in the world of technology and programming. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love for computer science, and encouraging students to develop their technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and innovative computer science lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Encourage students to develop their coding and problem-solving skills.
  • Organise and oversee extracurricular computer science activities and clubs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement creative teaching strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience teaching computer science at the secondary school level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to promoting technology and innovation among students.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
