Teaching Personnel are seeking a qualified and experienced IT/Computer Science teacher to work in one of our OFSTED Outstanding partner schools within Coventry on a full-time basis.

Qualifications:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in ICT/Computing
• Bachelors degree in ICT/ Computer Science
• Experience or proven track record of teaching ICT/Computer Science within a UK secondary school
• Enhanced DBS on update service (we can offer support with this)
• Ability and openess to cover various other subjects is beneficial

Job Roles/Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver Computer Science lessons that engage pupils from year 7-year 11
• Ability to teach AS/A Levels is advantageous
• Regularly assess pupil progress through tests, exams and assessments
• Provide timely, yet, informative written and verbal feedback which contributes to the learning and development of all pupils
• Collaborate with colleagues within the department to enhance the department and ensure it is a top performer within the school
• Contribute to wider school activities and extra curricular events
• Promote a safe and positive learning environment, keeping safeguarding at the centre of your practice
