Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Computer Science teacher looking for an exciting opportunity? An Outstanding secondary school in East Lancashire is seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic teaching team for a full-time maternity cover starting in January 2025.

Location: East Lancashire
Start Date: January 2025 (Full-Time)
Contract: Maternity Cover
Salary: MPS/UPS depending on experience

The Role:

We are looking for a passionate Computer Science teacher to deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5. You will play a pivotal role in helping students develop their skills and confidence in this ever-evolving subject. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-achieving school with an excellent reputation in the local community.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold QTS and a relevant degree in Computer Science or a related subject.
  • Have experience teaching Computer Science at secondary school level.
  • Be committed to delivering outstanding lessons, fostering creativity, and encouraging student progress.
  • Have strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate and inspire young people.
  • Be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be available to start full-time in January 2025 for the duration of the maternity cover.
