We are seeking an inspiring and dynamic Computer Science Teacher to join a forward-thinking Academy based in Blackpool, FY4. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive and innovative environment that values high-quality teaching and learning.

About the Role: As a Computer Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons to students at Key Stages 3 and 4. You will work closely with the wider department to ensure the curriculum is delivered to a high standard and tailored to the individual needs of the students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality Computer Science lessons.
  • Ensure students are engaged and motivated to reach their full potential.
  • Use innovative teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and develop resources.
  • Support the school in achieving its educational objectives and maintaining high standards of learning and behaviour.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the subject.
  • Ability to create an inclusive learning environment that promotes high levels of achievement for all students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This role is available on either a permanent or temp-to-perm basis, depending on your experience and suitability.
