Job Vacancy: Teacher of Computer Science (KS3–KS5)
Location: Blackburn, Lancashire
Start Date: Ideally Monday 2nd December. However, the school are willing to wait until January for the right candidate.

Are you a dynamic and innovative Computer Science teacher, eager to inspire the next generation of digital leaders? We are seeking a passionate Teacher of Computer Science to join our dedicated team at an Ofsted-rated 'Good' secondary school in Blackburn.

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Computer Science lessons to students from KS3 to KS5.
  • Inspire a love of coding, technology, and problem-solving in students of all abilities.
  • Plan and deliver a curriculum that fosters creativity and critical thinking, preparing students for the digital world.
  • Support students in achieving their best, both academically and in personal development.
  • Participate in departmental and whole-school activities to enhance the learning experience.

What We're Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with a specialism in Computer Science.
  • Proven experience teaching Computer Science at KS3–KS5 level.
  • A passion for technology and education, with a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.
  • Strong communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive and forward-thinking department.
