Subject Lead for KS4 & 5 Computing - Maidstone

About the Role:

Teaching Personnel’s PWR Team are seeking a passionate and experienced Computing Subject Lead to join an outstanding school in Maidstone. You will be responsible for leading and inspiring a team of teachers, developing and implementing a high-quality curriculum, and ensuring excellent outcomes for KS4 and KS5 students.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the Computing department, providing guidance and support to teachers

Develop and implement a comprehensive and engaging curriculum for KS4 and KS5 Computing

Ensure high-quality teaching and learning throughout the department

Set and monitor standards of achievement for students

Contribute to the school’s overall strategic direction and development

Ideal Candidate:

Holds a QTS or equivalent teaching qualification with a specialism in Computing

Has a strong understanding of the National Curriculum for Computing

Possesses excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Demonstrates a proven track record of successful teaching and leadership

A passion for Computing and a commitment to inspiring young minds is essential
