Job Title: Multi Skills Lecturer

Location: Cambridge

Salary: £27,000 - £40,369

Contract: Full time, permanent (37 hours per week)

 

Teaching Personnel Permanent Workforce are currently partnered with a Further Education College located in Cambridge, who are actively wanting an experienced Construction Tutor/Lecturer to join their team at their campus in Salford. The role is to teach Construction Multi Skills up to Level 3 to students aged over 14+, to start in January 2025.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high quality teaching and learning, both face-to-face and online, to a timetable that may include evening and non- term times. 
  • Undertake tutorial responsibilities i.e, Track and review student progress and maintain student records using Markbook and Promonitor.
  • Assist in the recruitment and admission of new students.
  • Participate in team meetings and course team reviews and evaluation.

 

Requirements:

  • Hold a minimum C&G Level 3 in any construction skill i.e, Carpentry, Joinery, Bricklaying etc.
  • Taught Multi Skills in the past up to Level 3 either on site (with an Apprenticee) or within a classroom.
  • Holds an Assessors Award (A1, V1, IQA etc.) is ideal, not essential.
  • Have a relevant UK Teaching Qualification e.g. PGCE, Cert Ed, PTLLS or equivalent, or a willingness to work towards one as the College can provide this.
