- Engaging Curriculum: Develop and deliver engaging construction lessons to students at KS4 and KS5, covering various aspects of construction theory and practical skills.
- Student Development: Foster a positive learning environment, encouraging student participation and progress in construction-related subjects.
- Hands-On Learning: Provide practical instruction in construction techniques, ensuring students gain hands-on experience.
- Assessment and Feedback: Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to help students achieve their full potential.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all practical activities comply with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe learning environment.
- Professional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the construction curriculum and participate in departmental and school-wide activities.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Or a relevant degree in Construction or a related field or sufficient experience.
- Industry Experience: Proven experience in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of construction practices and techniques.
- Teaching Expertise: Previous teaching experience is desirable but not essential. However, a passion for education and working with young people is a must.
- Classroom Management: Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.

- DBS Certificate: Must hold a valid DBS certificate or be willing to apply for one.
