Are you passionate about education and looking to gain invaluable classroom experience? South Liverpool schools are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Cover Supervisors to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with previous experience in a cover supervisor role or those aspiring to become future teachers with a subject specialism.

• Supervise whole classes during the absence of teachers, ensuring that students remain engaged in pre-set work
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
• Support students with their learning as needed
• Follow school policies and procedures to uphold high standards of education and conduct
• Work flexibly across various subjects and year groups as required

• Have prior experience as a Cover Supervisor or similar classroom-based role
• Be aspiring teachers with a subject specialism (e.g. English, Maths, Science, Humanities, etc.)
• Possess excellent communication and organisational skills
• Have a strong presence in the classroom and be confident managing students
• Be adaptable, proactive, and eager to contribute to the school community
• Hold an enhanced DBS check (or be willing to apply for one)
