Role Overview: As a Physical Education Cover Supervisor, you will provide essential support to the PE department by covering lessons in the absence of the regular teacher. You will oversee a variety of activities across different areas of Physical Education, ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment for students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise PE lessons and activities across various areas, including team sports, individual fitness, and recreational pursuits, catering to the needs of both boys and girls.
• Assist students with equipment setup, safety procedures, and participation in sports and physical activities.
• Maintain discipline and behavior management within the PE setting, promoting a positive and inclusive atmosphere conducive to learning and enjoyment.
• Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher or adapt activities as necessary to meet the needs of the class.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of PE lessons and contribute to the overall success of the department.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children or young people, preferably in a sports coaching or related role.
• Enthusiasm for physical education and a willingness to engage students in a range of sports and activities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students to participate and succeed.
• Flexibility and adaptability to cover a variety of PE lessons and activities across different age groups and skill levels.
• Willingness to undergo vetting procedures conducted by Teaching Personnel
