Cover Supervisor Secondary Schools

• Supervising students in a secondary school setting
• Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a safe learning environment
• Delivering pre-prepared lessons when teaching staff are absent
• Supporting students with their learning and providing assistance as needed
• Assisting with administrative tasks as required

• Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
• Experience working with children or young people
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Understanding of classroom management techniques
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Teaching Assistant qualification
• First Aid certification

This role involves working in a secondary school setting with students aged 11-16. The work hours are typically during school hours, Monday to Friday.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
