Position: Cover Supervisor

Location: NN3, Northampton

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work in education and make a real difference in the lives of young learners? Do you have experience in working with secondary students?

Teaching Personnel is working with a great school who are recruiting for a Cover Supervisor to work with their students between KS3 and KS4.

As a cover supervisor you will be playing an important role in ensuring all students are receiving the very best education. You will also be working closely with the schools dedicated team of teachers who all share the same passion of wanting to have a positive impact on the future generations.

The role will require you to deliver pre-prepared lessons for a variety of different subjects and school years depending on what lessons the school need covering. The role would be perfect for a graduate who is seeking some experience in a school environment, or an experienced teacher looking for a more flexible role.

About the school

Based in the centre of Northampton, the school is easily accessible for those who drive, or those who would need to use public transport. They have been awarded with a ‘Good’ Ofsted Grade, and pride themselves in having the tradition of strong academic achievement using a holistic approach to education to help create a special atmosphere within the school.

Requirements;

-          A qualification in teaching (QTS or equivalent) however would still accept unqualified teachers with experience in secondary teaching  

-          A child only enhanced DBS

-          An Overseas Police clearance (If applicable)

-          Excellent communication and classroom management skills 

-          Enthusiasm for working with students and positively impacting their lives

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
