Cover Supervisor

Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join a secondary school in Poynton, Cheshire. This is a full-time, permanent position, with the successful candidate expected to work Monday to Friday.

• Supervise and support students in the absence of the regular teacher
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
• Deliver pre-set work and ensure students remain on task
• Assist with the implementation of lesson plans

A relevant undergraduate degree in Education or a related field is required for this role.

• Minimum of 6 months experience within a UK secondary school setting
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills
• Confidence in managing a classroom environment

A teaching qualification or relevant postgraduate degree would be advantageous.

The Cover Supervisor will work within a supportive school environment, collaborating with teaching staff and students to ensure a positive educational experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
