About the Role:

Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Andover. This role offers an excellent opportunity for university students, aspiring teachers, and overseas-trained teachers to gain valuable experience in the UK education system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising and managing classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher.
  • Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans and ensuring students remain on task.
  • Supporting students with their learning and maintaining a positive classroom environment.
  • Managing behaviour in line with school policies and procedures.
  • Assisting with administrative tasks and other duties as required by the school.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (any discipline).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
  • Enthusiasm for working with young people and helping them succeed.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school environments.
  • Previous experience in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
