Smile Education are working with a Secondary school in Stafford who are seeking a Cover Supervisor to start in September. The successful candidate will be in charge of delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher, making sure that the class runs smoothly.
The Cover Supervisor role is great for those who would like to gain more experience working with classes before committing/ applying to a teacher training role which may be long term or permanent.
About the Cover Supervisor Role:
- Able to supervise and cover a secondary class, delivering pre-planned lessons
- Prior education / classroom / tutoring experience
- Professional approach to helping students learn and manage the behaviour of the class.
- A full enhanced DBS will be required, which can be processed through Smile Education.
