Teaching Personnel work with a coeducational, secondary academy located in Bognor Regis, graded ‘GOOD’ in all areas by Ofsted. The school are seeking educators to join them from September 2024, on a full time, temporary or permanent basis, to work as a cover supervisor. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive environment within a successful school. The role:
Cover supervisors are key to the effectiveness of the school. The role involves supervising whole classes during the absence of a teacher, providing short term cover, and helping the students with their learning. Cover supervisors often get involved in the heart of the school and are familiar and trusted faces around the school. This includes tutor time as well as subject lessons. The position is suitable for an individual who is confident in working with young people and making a difference. Working as a Cover Supervisor is a fantastic opportunity to gain school-based experience to pursue a career in teaching, this opportunity would suit a Graduate or a candidate who is confident with classroom management and behaviour. The role may also be suitable for qualified teachers who would like to move to a non-teaching role, or those returning to work.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
