Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage classes during teacher absences, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Deliver pre-set work and ensure students remain on task.
  • Maintain classroom discipline in line with school policies.
  • Provide support to students with their learning as needed.
  • Assist in other duties as required, such as supporting school events and activities.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Minimum of a GCSE's; a degree in a related field is advantageous.
  • A valid DBS check, or willingness to undergo one.
