Cover Supervisor Expiring soon

We are working with a supportive and inclusive secondary school who are seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join their dynamic team. Our partnered secondary school is based in North Manchester, and this is a full-time position starting September 2024.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of students' learning in the absence of their regular teacher. Your main responsibilities will include:
Delivering pre-prepared lessons and ensuring students remain on task.
Managing classroom behavior in line with school policies.
Supporting students' learning and addressing any queries they may have.
Collaborating with teaching staff to ensure a smooth transition during cover periods.
Providing feedback to the class teacher regarding students' progress.

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to manage a classroom and maintain a positive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
