Salary: £84 - £95 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Supervise and manage classroom activities in the absence of a teacher
  • Ensure students are engaged in learning and following set tasks
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Manage student behaviour and escalate issues as necessary
  • Support teaching staff with administrative tasks

Required Qualifications:

  • GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths
  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to different classroom environments

Education:

  • Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent

Experience:

  • Prior experience working with children or young people

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of school policies and procedures
  • Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively
  • Strong communication and organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

  • Working hours may vary but typically fall within school hours
  • May involve some additional responsibilities outside of normal classroom supervision

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
