About the Role: As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity of education in the absence of teachers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering pre-prepared lessons across various subjects.
  • Managing classroom behaviour to ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Supporting students’ learning and ensuring they remain on task.
  • Liaising with teaching staff to ensure lesson objectives are met.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • A passion for education and helping students achieve their potential.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to adapt to different subjects and year groups.
