Teaching Personnel are working with one of our client schools who have an exciting opportunity for the coming year. The school has roughly 1000 children aged 11-16.  This role is perfect for someone wanting to increase their experience in the classroom and aspiring to become a teacher.  A cover supervisor oversees the classroom management and ensures children stay on task.  The successful educator will be expected to cover lessons for KS3 and KS4.  Alongside teaching mainstream lessons, you will be supporting the ALN coordinator by supporting classrooms of children highlighted to have additional learning needs. 

Key requirements:

  • Cover for the remainder for the academic year (July 2025)
  • Experience desirable for not needed
  • Minimum of 5 GCSE A*-C
  • Manage the classroom
  • Able to cover a wide range of subjects
  • Able to cover classrooms of children with ALN
  • Confident classroom presence required
  • Enhanced DBS available on the update service
  • Valid registration with the EWC
