£85 - £95 Per day
1. Supervise and manage a classroom in the absence of the regular teacher. 2. Ensure the students are on task and maintain a positive learning environment. 3. Implement pre-prepared lesson plans and provide support to students as needed. 4. Manage behaviour and maintain discipline within the classroom. 5. Liaise with teaching staff and senior leadership as required.
- A valid DBS check - Good communication skills - Ability to follow instructions and work independently - Flexibility and adaptability
GCSEs or equivalent qualifications
Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable
- Knowledge of basic classroom management techniques - Strong interpersonal skills - Ability to engage and motivate students
- Teaching Assistant qualification - First Aid certification
- Work in a classroom setting within a school environment - Full-time hours with occasional flexibility required - May involve some level of physical activity and standing for extended periods

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
