Cover Supervisor - Flexible, Multi-School Role

Teaching Personnel are seeking versatile and proactive Cover Supervisors to work across multiple schools. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments, with the flexibility to cover various subjects and year groups. As a Cover Supervisor, you will step in to deliver pre-set lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure students remain on task during the teacher’s absence.

Your Role will Include:

  • Leading lessons across a wide range of subjects, ensuring continuity of learning.
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively, keeping students engaged.
  • Delivering and explaining pre-prepared lesson plans and materials.
  • Reporting back to teaching staff on students’ progress and behaviour.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous classroom leadership experience (as a Cover Supervisor, or similar).
  • Strong behaviour management skills and confidence working with secondary-aged students.
  • Flexibility to work in various schools and subjects, sometimes at short notice.
  • A professional, adaptable attitude and the ability to build rapport with students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
