Education and Training

£85 - £95 Per day

  • Supervise and manage classroom activities in the absence of the regular teacher
  • Implement pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure that students are on task
  • Maintain a positive learning environment and manage student behaviour
  • Provide support to students in their learning and assist with any questions or concerns
  • Report back on student behaviour and progress to the relevant teacher or school staff
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
  • Previous experience working with children in an educational setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics

Previous experience working with children in an educational setting

  • Understanding of classroom management techniques
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Basic knowledge of the UK education system
  • Higher education qualification in Education or related field
  • Teaching Assistant qualification

This role involves working in a classroom setting within a school environment. The Cover Supervisor may need to deal with challenging student behaviour at times.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
