As a Cover Supervisor, your primary responsibility will be to manage classrooms during short-term absences of teaching staff. You will ensure that students remain on task with pre-prepared exercises and maintain a constructive learning environment.

• Supervise Pre-Set Work: Oversee students as they complete exercises set in accordance with school policy.
• Manage Classroom Behaviour: Ensure a positive and productive classroom atmosphere.
• Assist Students: Respond to any questions about processes and procedures.
• Handle Emergencies: Address any immediate issues or emergencies following the school’s policies.
• Collect and Return Work: Gather completed assignments and return them to the appropriate teacher.
• Report Back: Provide feedback on student behaviour and any issues that arise during the class.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
