Cover Supervisors are needed for the High Peak area for flexible working opportunities.

Are you wanting to develop your skills as a teacher by gaining valuable experience through classroom opportunities?

Are you wanting to work regular school hours then going home without the added responsibility of having to mark and plan work?

As a cover supervisor there’s no immediate stress of having to plan or mark for your lessons and it allows for you to just carry out the pre-planned activities to the specific class. The class groups in hand will consist of years 7 to 11 students so the ability to maintain a good standard of behaviour management will be needed throughout.

Any transferable skills that can applied to the role could prove to be a valuable asset for the school, such as:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Behaviour management techniques applicable to a school setting.
  • Positive and nurturing nature.
  • Confidence and enthusiasm within the desired area.

As stated, we work with a number of schools in the High Peak area that are looking for a flexible candidate to bring in the additional staff support when required. Through working with Teaching Personnel you’ll be able to take advantage of CPD courses too progress your teaching development, whilst also earning at the same time.

Our candidates for a Cover Supervisor role will be entitled to receive:

  • £350 - £450 per week (dependant on experience),
  • Use of the Teaching Personnel online booking system to book in and block out days you’re available. 
  • A range of free CPD training courses and development opportunities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
