Salary: £85 - £95 Per day

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing classes in the absence of the regular teacher. Your primary role will be to manage the classroom and ensure that students remain on task with their work. Key duties include:

  • Supervising students during lesson time
  • Delivering pre-prepared work left by the teacher
  • Maintaining good order and discipline among students
  • Ensuring a positive learning environment
  • Dealing with any immediate problems or emergencies according to school policies
  • GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Mathematics
  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in a similar role in an educational setting
  • Knowledge of classroom management techniques
  • Ability to adapt to different teaching styles
  • Higher education qualifications in a relevant subject
  • Training in behaviour management or safeguarding
  • Working hours: Full-Time, during school term times
  • Interacting with students, teachers, and school staff
  • Potential for occasional travel to different school locations

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
